Qualifications
DUTIES: Work on RF design, performance, network engineering and enhanced 911 (E911) aspects of wireless networks; maintain, implement and optimize wireless global systems for mobile telecommunications (GSM), code division multiple access (CDMA), universal mobile telecommunication services (UMTS) and E911 network performance; utilize knowledge in RF propagation, prediction, GSM and UMTS air interfaces and E911 uplink time difference of arrival (UTDOA) and assisted global positioning systems (AGPS); design new sites including searching ring release, candidate selection, site walk, radio frequency direct sequence (RFDS) issuance and plumbing diagram; modify site support and coordinate with implementation team.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering followed by 5 years of progressive experience maintaining, implementing and optimizing wireless GSM network performance with 1 year experience therein to include enhanced 911 (E911) and universal mobile telecommunication services (UMTS).
