Job DescriptionClosetMaid® currently has an entry levelSales Service Representativeopportunity for thePortland, Oregon areawith emphasis on customer service and relationship building. This position will be responsible for the merchandising of ClosetMaid products at the assigned home center customer. The ideal individual will be required to have excellent leadership skills, the ability to foster teamwork, build brand loyalty, and maximize sales through a creative and entrepreneurial approach. Job Requirements * HS/GED;4-year degree preferred. * Experience with merchandising, sales, service in home improvement centers, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.a plus * There is a lot of road work and will require about 6-8 overnights per month. Ability to travel and comfortable in snowy weather conditions. Reliable transportation aMUSTand a valid Driverâ??s License are mandatory. * Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift 50 lbs. while ascending/descending a 12 ft. ladder. * Internet and personal computer knowledge, including MS Office. * Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and relationship building skills. * Must pass a drug screen and background check (criminal, credit, driving record, social security). * Only local candidates will be considered.
