Description

Role Description:
This role is a technical specialist role within our SAP IT team, with responsibilities to establish, coordinate and monitor global SAP Procurement Systems. This role will also rely on excellent customer service and organizational skills to manage several tasks simultaneously while still providing the necessary focus on details.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical and functional aspects of SAP data integration across our newly implemented Procurement System Landscape (SRM, MDM, SUS, SRM-MDM Catalogs, and R/3 MM).
• Actively participate in the support framework of a robust data architecture and data maintenance work-flows.
• Lead or participate in business and capability projects.
• Interact with business partners and internal customers, translating SAP requirements into technical specifications with our external consulting partners.
• Supervise the resolution of support issues and implementation of changes through our external consulting partners.
• Actively participate in the design (and if needed the implementation) of the more complex process / configuration changes in our highly integrated solution landscape.
• Identify new systems opportunities to improve the application of existing and new processes
• Proactively build relationships with internal key customers, share SAP knowledge, and expertise to continuously raise the bar for cost efficiency and solution effectiveness
Requirements:
• 2+ years of SAP experience
• 2+ years of experience regarding data management/replication in SAP SRM (Supply Relationship Management) and SAP SRM-MDM Catalogs,
• 2+ years ABAP and/or WEB-Dynpro coding experience
• Sound knowledge of Classic SAP R/3 MM and the data exchange infrastructure (IDOCS, RFC, PI(XI)).
• Project management experience involving 2 or more teams, departments, or locations with the ability to lead diverse and international teams.
• Experience communicating complex or technical issues to business leaders
• Some travel will be required (predominantly North America)
Preferences:
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience with SAP MDM (Master Data Management), SAP SUS (Supply Self Service), EP (Enterprise Portal) and/or PI (XI).
• Experience in a global manufacturing or consulting industry would be highly beneficial
