This position is long-term in nature with the possibility of going direct. Primary duties include mechanical assembly, manufacturing and testing of aviation system restraint harnesses. Must be familiar with the basic tools related to this position. Parachute / Torso Harness assembly / manufacturing experience is desired. Must be able to operate an industrial grade sewing machine to include a class 7 sewing machine. Must be proficient with sewing techniques related to Military aviation applications. Must be proficient with various stitch patterns, and understand standard concepts, practices and procedures. Must be able to read and interpret blueprint dimensions and specifications.
