The Security Coordinator will oversee all of the duties and functions of the security staff at Dish Network Corp. The Security Coordinator will assist the Manager in organizing and facilitating all security personnel and their duties.
Trains and develops security personnel on security computer system.
Implement and enforce rules and regulations.
Actively participate in ongoing training and adherence to internal and external processes and procedures.
Supervise, measure and evaluate subordinate performance.
Handles unusual or difficult inquiries/situations through direct personal action with referral through the Facilities Manager.
Controls overtime and meet sscheduling requirements.
Oversees all activities of security department through access control and policy implementation.
Responds to alarms and emergencies in accordance with company policies and procedures, coordinate emergency situations, monitor emergency activities and keep appropriate personnel informed. Must be on call 24/7.
Plans overall security operations and ensures achievement of goals and objectives through subordinate staff in conjunction with Manager.
Investigates and reports incidences that affect company property and implements corrective action procedures.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 months related experience and/or training; and 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
