Job Responsibilities:
* Support product design, critical feature, and risk analysis input to project team. * Participate in reliability analysis and process capability assessments to determine process efficiency and suitability. * Conduct Cost of Poor Quality (non-conformance, warranty, etc.) analysis of like systems, report on potential issues and make recommendations for design change to the project team. * Develops a complete understanding and assures deployment of Quality System, Quality Plan, and customer requirements insuring a defect-free launch. Conveys these requirements and systems to assigned project teams and assures they are met. * Work with manufacturing teams to develop and implement the quality plan for new product. * Works with Purchasing and Supplier Quality on the effective assessment of suppliers and their processes to assure quality product realization. * Effectively communicates status regarding product/process/system status, concerns, or improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: A four year degree in Engineering or equivalent along with three to five years of experience in manufacturing with emphasis on new product launch. Experience performing or certification in project management is desirable. Excellent computer literacy, word processing skills (MS Word) and spreadsheet skills (MS Excel) are required. Experience using quality tools and techniques such as, problem solving, statistical data analysis are desired. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people and the personal drive necessary to provide needed support in the time frames demanded.
