Job Description: • Skill and resources management for operation and maintenance (O&M) activities • Support O&M manager for the budget at project level • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of maintenance activities at a project level according to customer requirements • Manager the resolution of technical problems with a customer at project level • Collect technical data and monitor installed equipment performance at a project level
Length & Specific Experience/Skills Required • 10-15 years of related experience with at least 3-5 maintenance expertise • In depth knowledge and experience in application of the rules and regulations (applicable to local and/or international environment) pertaining to railway traffic management, train driving, access to track and working trackside, working with high, medium and low voltage equipment. • Basic knowledge of commonly used railway safety management systems • The ability to create a plan of activities, usually using a top down approach and the ability to compare this plan with the project • Knowledge of planning techniques (earned values, wbs, etc) and the ability to prepare reports • Capable of initiating investigations; identifying relevant evidence; arranging for its preservation and prepare action plans for testing. Conclude with final report • Capable of location and diagnosing faults in signaling systems and equipment • Knowledge and capability of implementing generic devices (oscilloscope, etc) and IT specific diagnostic tools used in the maintenance process and activities to achieve corrective and preventive maintenance as required • The ability to calculate the theoretical price of purchase and/or activities taking into account various factors like manpower material, material, inflation, cost of living, etc. The calculation will also involved best guess if input data is not available • Strong background in Linux operating systems • Proficient in C and C++
