Job Description: Air Liquide Industrial (“ALIUS”) is actively seeking a Service Equipment Operator to be located in Plaquemine, LA. The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities: * Safely operate mobile nitrogen pumping units at customer sites per specific job scope. * Promote safety and service excellence in the field consistent with AirLiquide and IGS Values * Complete required pre and post trip inspections of equipment * Safely drive equipment to and from customer job sites * Safely rig-up and rig-down nitrogen pumping unit(s) on site * Manage liquid nitrogen and fuel deliveries throughout job to maintain consistent supply, while minimizing related costs * Safely operate all equipment: fuel trailers, trucks, tractors and pumping units on job site, including trouble-shooting equipment as necessary * Accurately complete all paperwork including DOT logs, pay-sheets, expense reports, and all job-related paperwork * Assist in maintaining equipment including cleaning, washing, and servicing * Assist other SEO’s and Trainees when applicable * Communicate professionally and effectively with other operators, supervisors, customers, delivery personnel, etc at all times * Exhibit professionalism and promote modeling of core behaviors, setting an example for Trainees and other Service Equipment Operators * Attend customer pre-job site surveys and safety meetings * Ensure all fuel receipts and SO’s are submitted to La Porte on weekly basis * Coordinates with Field Supervisors for daily scheduling and to resolve routine issues * Report to Operations Manager * Reports regulatory compliance issues and concerns to supervisor, HSE Specialist/Manager as appropriate * Supports and participates in the HSEQ & RM programs and objectives established by the entity * Assist Operations Manager and Field Supervisors in training SEO’s as appropriate * Utilize the Air Liquide OJT Program in training on all procedures including for equipment, operations, and applications * Promote safety culture with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Near Miss reporting, Safe Start training, and QMS implementation Requirements: * High School graduate (GED) * Knowledge of IGS equipment and applications helpful * Industrial nitrogen service experience helpful * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Operate and trouble-shoot ALL IGS equipment * Assist in repair of IGS equipment * Skilled in simple to moderate IGS applications * Operate pumping units in various applications * Current CDL with endorsements * Mechanical aptitude * Effective communication skills * On Call 24/7 * Carry pager and cell phone * Able to travel (50%) * Able to wear all required PPE * Able to lift 100 pounds
