Immediate Need!!
Leading Steel manufacturer located in Northeastern, Kentucky, is actively searching for a Night Shift Supervisor with melt shop steel manufacturing experience. Local Candidates strongly preferred. This is a full time salary position with potential to make 20-40% incentive bonus.
Responsibilities:
-> Supervising and facilitating operations and production for steel manufacturing process in the melting shop
-> Formulates, distributes, and enforces internal guidelines and procedures
-> Promotes quality, safety, productivity, and positive employee developments
-> Maintains departmental costs and budgets
-> Assigns work and overtime as required
-> Provides support to production personnel
Requirements:
-> 5+ years of shift supervising, maintenance, operations, or production experience in a manufacturing melting shop or in a steel manufacturing environment
-> Minimum of four years experience in operations or production supervision or lead role of a steel manufacturing environment
-> Ability to interact comfortably, effectively, and professionally with all departments at all levels
-> Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize several jobs and work under pressure
-> Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to train others and manage and resolve conflict
