We offer a competitive benefits package including medical / dental, 401(k) and profit sharing. Status:Full Time Responsibilities The Olympic Steel Chicago Division has openings for Shophelpers.
The Shophelper responsibilities include satisfying customer requirements of quality, quantity and delivery, in a safe manner while maximizing productivity. Responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include cutting machine support, movement of work in process material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, truck loading, raw material receiving, and raw material and finished goods preparation and management.
Qualifications - Use and care of measuring tools are required. - Steel industry and product knowledge. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
