IMMEDIATE NEED for an experienced Software Test Engineer to do the verification and validation of embedded software to detailed requirements for an international company providing high-quality products to the automotive industry utilizing proprietary electrochromic technology from their facility in the Grand Rapids Michigan area
Responsibilities:
-> Interfaces internally with Manufacturing, Project and Hardware Engineering, Software Development, R&D, and Program Management
-> Verification and validation of embedded software to detailed requirements
Requirements:
-> Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field
-> 3 years High proficiency in Embedded Software Testing
-> PLUS: Automotive Embedded Software Testing
-> Proficiency in Automated Software Testing
-> Proficiency in C++ or scripting languages
-> Understanding of good development and testing practices
-> PLUS: Experience with Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration and other Agile practices
-> PLUS: proficiency with embedded development and software requirements
-> Very good communication and collaboration skills
-> US citizen
-> PLUS: Experience with CMMI/SPICE
