A growing company is seeking a Software Engineer for its Central Coast of California facility. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All qualified candidate are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-> Research, design, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages
-> Software testing, modeling, simulation, and quality assurance
-> Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
-> Support and maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
-> Develop mid to large scale software systems
-> Create technical specifications and test plans
-> Maintain standards compliance
-> Problem solving and thinking laterally as part of a team to meet the needs of the project
Requirements:
-> Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, or Software Engineer
-> 3-5 years experience developing mid to large scale software systems
-> Extensive development experience in C#, Java, C++, and/or C++/CLI
-> Experience in rich client programming under Windows using Win32, MFC, WinForms, WPF, AWT, Swing and/or SWT
-> Object oriented design experience to include effective use of design patterns
-> Distributed systems and paradigms experience including service oriented architectures,, multithreaded programming, domain layers, ORM, databases. large scale frameworks, and APIs
-> Ability to work independently to research, design, and implement sophisticated and diverse software solutions
-> Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
