Client located north of Denver, CO is actively looking for an experienced Software / Project Management Engineer with software firmware development and project management experience within a New Product Development environment. Candidate must have hands-on technical problem solving skills while also performing advanced software engineering principles, to the design, redesign, test, modeling and use of various products, subassemblies and well precedented systems. Responsibilities:
-> Perform Embedded Firmware development and writing software code -> Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications -> Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software -> Design, code, and test software/firmware for analytical instruments -> Support and/or install software applications/operating systems and provide information on strategic planning and technology evaluation -> Participate in the design and documentation of software/firmware architecture -> Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain embedded software applications
Requirements:
-> BS degree with 5 - 10 years direct relevant experience or MS degree with 5 years direct relevant experience -> 3+ years of Embedded firmware design & coding experience -> Previous Project Management experience -> Knowledge of ISO quality systems (specifically Design Controls/Product Realization) and related requirements -> Experience with Software Modeling, Design, Testing, Programming, Troubleshooting, Documentation and Maintenance -> Experience with GUI Design and Implementation and communication interfaces such as RS232, TCP/IP, USB, and Modbus
