The Hobart Weigh Wrap Product Line is going through an exciting transformation while we build our next generation solutions. We are looking for atwoSoftware System Test Technicians or Engineers (depending on experience level) team members to work on next generation new product development and sustaining efforts at our Troy, Ohio facility.

Requirements

* Getting things done right the first time
* A passion for Testing
* Associates in Computer Science or equivalent is required. B.S. in Computer Science is preferred
* 2-5 years experience testing software in both an application and preferably embedded environment
* 2-5 years in Test Plan development traceable to Requirements specification and Implementation
* Use of Defect management tools like NetResults Tracker or equivalent
* Experience with source code control packages like SVN or equivalent.
* Experience with documentation management tools like Sharepoint.
* Must have experience or exposure to testing for performance, regression, optimization, bugs, stress and functionality
* Experience automating test cases with C, C++, C# programming, script-writing, etc.
* Solid knowledge of Windows, Windows Embedded, and Linux
* Well versed in the use of Microsoft Office tools especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* Ability to develop schedules for test activities
* Experience manipulating files and directories in both Windows and Linux OS.
* Knowledge of wired and wireless networking strongly preferred
* Active participation in evolving our best practices in Software Testing

About our interview process: Initial phone screens with both Human Resources and the Director of Engineering, then a conference call with several software engineers for a evaluation of your advertised technical knowledge. We then would bring you on site for a tour and a deeper round of interviews. The process may terminate anywhere along the way.
