The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing categories of Sonoco purchases ranging from $25 to $50 million dollars. Product mix includes but is not limited to MRO, facilities maintenance, and capital equipment required by the company. This position will work with internal customers and external suppliers to understand business needs and convert those needs into effective supply strategies for Sonoco * Lead sourcing team engagements to analyze marketplace and business needs, and develop strategies to effectively manage area of spend * Achieve cost reduction targets per budgeted plan and performance management objectives * Establish and maintain effective internal customer relationships * Lead internal , supplier, and cross functional teams on improvement and optimization projects * Settle customer/supplier service issues or customer disputes * Manage performance expectations with suppliers * Develop supplier agreements / contracts to effectively manage area of spend Required Skills * Effective communicator and influence leader * Change management * Analytical and finance skills * Effective team leader and facilitatorRequired Experience 3 - 5 years of experienceJob LocationHartsville, SC USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular Business Unit Corporate
