Description
This highly motivated individual will execute the financial close process for the HQ Operating ledger. Key focus will be to deploy best-in-class financial account analysis and review while ensuring compliance with company accounting procedures and practices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
Perform financial period close for the HQ Operating entity including P&L Flash & Balance Sheet
o Preparation of HQ journal entries, quarterly schedules and reconciliations
o Ensures all transactions, reports and reconciliations are compliant with SOX, GAAP & PBG Policy
o Meets all period and quarter close deadlines
Primary owner of Internal PBC Flash compilation and review; ensures the timeliness and accuracy of periodic business results relied upon by Sr. Management.
Works to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data populated in Hyperion Enterprise/Pepsico external.
Partner with various Teams including Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, Cash Flow & Planning to ensure total financial support of both HQ Operating entity and PBC consolidated financials.
Qualifications
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong organization, presentation, project management and communication skills.
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Microsoft Office experience - strong Excel
Demonstrates initiative and independence
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and multi task comfortably
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required and 3+ years of related experience. Working knowledge of Business Objects, Essbase and Oracle Preferred.
