Sr. Manufacturing Engineer
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
Responsibilities include involvement in up front product design phase by working closely with Design Engineering, Systems Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Operations. Develop and consider all elements of a product life cycle and lessons learned to ensure the critical product characteristics as quality, cost, performance, and product delivery schedule are all designed into the product.
Knowledgeable and current on new technologies to be suggested and considered by design engineering that will drive quality in and cost out of the product is desired.
Other duties will be developing concept manufacturing processes and tooling, cost reduction, strategic guidance, supporting engineering test hardware. Manage the planning and schedule execution, coordinate with suppliers to determine product specifications and evaluate products according to Specifications and quality standards. Participate in Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education - BS Mechanical Engineering
Yrs of Experience - 4+ years in related field
Industry Experience - Aerospace preferred
