Job Summary

Candidate is responsible for Boiler Tuner Field Engineering activities:

This includes:

o The startup and tuning of DCS based boiler control systems at customer power plants and industrial plant sites.
o Boiler control applications, control loops, logic, control valves, sensors, and tuning
o Boiler tuning with pulverized coal, fuel oil and natural gas combustion control schemes.
o Working on Turbine Control projects
o Traveling to client sites, working on various projects

Education

BS degree in Engineering or AS degree with 10 years controls experience required.

Experience

o Requires 10 years experience in Boiler Tuner Field Engineering
o Knowledge of boiler control applications, control loops, logic, control valves, sensors, and tuning using DCS based controls required. Boiler tuning experience required with pulverized coal, fuel oil and natural gas combustion control schemes.
o Experience with coordinated Turbine control required. Experience with Emerson Ovation, ABB Bailey Net 90 or Infi 90, Honeywell, Foxboro, L&N, Max or Westinghouse WDPF boiler control systems desired.



Travel

This position requires 75 - 100% travel to customer sites.
