Global Supply Chain team is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for the Structural Castings Value stream. Candidate will lead in the strategic management of structural castings supplied to all module centers within Pratt and Whitney. The Structural Casting commodity has an annual spend of approximately $100M and includes nickel and titanium castings ranging in size from 1 inch to 60 inches in diameter. The role consists of strategic management of the supply base to drive of cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives resulting in cost, quality and delivery improvements
- Drive cost reduction within the supply base (Leverage, Engineering, developing dual sources and out sourcing to low cost countries)
- Develop and manage complex Pratt and Whitney Global Supply Chain team is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for the Structural Castings Value stream. - Lead strategic sourcing initiatives resulting in cost, quality and delivery improvements
- Drive cost reduction within the supply base (Leverage, Engineering, developing dual sources and out sourcing to low cost countries)
- Develop and manage complex supplier relationships
- Present results, status of key initiatives, and strategies to senior management regularly
- Project management of outsourcing activities to low cost domestic and international sources
- Identify new sources to procure product
- Support quoting requirements for new engine programs
- Drive continuous improvement internally to PW and Supplier Gold in the supply base
Structural castings manages domestic and international supply chain suppliers delivering product to Middletown, CT, East Hartford, North Berwick, Me, Engine Center and the Spare Parts organization.
Export compliance training a plus.

7 to 10+ years experience including a solid technical/manufacturing background
