Supplier Quality Engineer - Entry Level
Multiple entry-level positions are available within the Supplier Quality Organization.
Positions within the Advance and Current Supplier Quality Teams that are responsible for managing all aspects of the Supplier Quality functions from Design thru volume production. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the product development process to ensure only qualified suppliers are chosen Develop and support commodity strategies with the Purchasing teams Managing key component quality milestones working with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc. Leading problem solving activities with internal and external organizations Presenting part and program status to senior leadership Work with Plant Manufacturing & Supplier Teams to resolve component issues
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale
• Strong interest in the Automotive industry
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous internship with an automotive manufacturer or supplier
• Quality certification(s) or membership in Automotive or Quality associations
• Knowledge of automotive processes and components
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Application Suite
• Strong leadership skills
• Travel expectation, 15% to 50% depending upon the position
