Job Responsibilities:

* Provide development guidance for both new and existing suppliers producing Electrical/Software parts to fulfill corporate sourcing requirements.
* Build strong relationship with supplier management and front-line personnel.
* Provide advise/assistance/training to obtain compliance, e.g., CPPAS, R&R, Statistical Process Controls, Process Capability Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, etc.
* Perform quality audits and process assessments, as required, for both prospective and current suppliers.
* Provide Supplier Quality Assurance assistance to solve quality, delivery and cost problems. Serve as liasion between supplier and corresponding Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering personnel.
* Facilitate efficient prevention/control processes for suppliers to ensure product introductions and ongoing production requirements process smoothly.
* Participate in the source evaluation and approval of potential suppliers for Crown's Approved Supplier List (ASL)
* Prepare status reports, presentations and maintain documentation for continuous improvements


Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering major. Three or more years of work experience in a supplier development or quality engineering role.
* Must be familiar with FEMA/APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA.
* Strong organizational and communication skills (both oral and written, English) are necessary. Must be willing to travel.
