Supplier Quality Specialist 4
Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier's systems, processes and products. Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers. Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work. Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives. Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity. Generate Supplier Corrective action requests from Suppliers and verify Root Cause Analysis preformed and approve Supplier's corrective action plans.
Provides technical expertise to company employees, suppliers employees, customers and when required provides education and coaching on regulatory requirements and the AS9100 aerospace quality system. The Quality Specialist will be competent in root cause corrective action investigations, performing problem resolution and follow-up activities including problem identification, investigation, analysis and resolution of discrepancies and non-conformance issues. Interfaces with the Boeing Enterprise, internal and external customers, and suppliers to establish priorities and be responsible for developing and regularly maintaining detailed reports to communicate quality status, improvement activities, risks, and progress to the Supplier Management community.
Close coordination with Procurement Agents, Program Leaders, SQ Management and other functional stakeholders in development of strategy and deployment is required and critical. The candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to schedule multiple events in a dynamic production environment. The candidate must be able to work cross-functionally with many different job disciplines at supplier. Strong computer skills are required.

Typical Education/Experience

This position is for a Quality Management Systems (QMS) specialist to provide on-site Quality oversight and support at Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) supplier, Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Commercial Division facilities in , Dallas, Texas. Position requires direct, regular engagement with supplier's Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Leadership teams in the investigation and resolution of co product quality and QMS related issues. Required frequent travel between Triumph Vought facilities. Note: Position may require limited virtual work.
