Supply Chain Analyst
The Supply Chain Analyst is a supply chain position that supports supplier development and Purchasing in areas such as: supplier quality, costs, service, sourcing, R&D Purchasing and FDA compliance. Developed communication and relationship skills are important, as this role involves collaborating across multiple departments to drive improvement of the supplier management practices of the organization. Experience with suppliers and a basic understanding of inter-departmental relationships and context are required. Analytical talent and problem solving capabilities to improve supplier evaluation and management processes are critical. Detail orientation to drive accuracy in reporting and internal communication is important in this role.
Qualifications/Work Experience
•2-4 yrs. Industry Experience •Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills (relationship management). •Knowledge of supplier processes and supply chain risk factors. •Basic understanding and demonstrated application of Stryker Purchasing and Supplier Controls procedures. •Knowledge of supplier management IT systems (Agile, Oracle, SAP, SRMs, CRMs, iSupply or related). •Demonstrated detail orientation. •Experience with supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems. •Supplier Audit experience in quality system standards: FDA QSR, ISO3485 and ISO9001. •Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills. •Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. •Ability to collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information. •Proficient on basic computer programs including Microsoft Suite applications.•May lead Supplier NCMB Meetings and audit reviews and ensure audit report compliance. •Improve and implement divisional purchasing controls procedures and processes. •Initiate new supplier additions and ensure proper execution of supplier requirements. •Maintain and analyze suppliers on Approved Supplier List. •Lead Compliance-focused supply chain projects related to ERP systems. •Firm knowledge base of Approved Supplier List. •May serve as R&D Purchasing Analyst on new product project teams. •Supplier Auditing to ISO13485:2003 and FDA QSR Standards. •Travel up to 25%. •Masters or Bachelors in Business Admin., Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, or equivalent. •2 yrs.
