Supply Chain Management Analyst 3
Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements. Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan. Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability. Ensures on-time delivery. Documents and resolves order delinquencies. Reports schedule adherence issues. Develops and controls inventory plans. Optimizes inventory levels. Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories. Initiates audits. Develops and creates schedules for products and services. Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. Works under general direction.

Complete knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed by various procurement departments/disciplines. Complete working knowledge of supply chain requirements (e.g., replenishment, repairs, cycle time, inventory levels, scrap rate, pricing, suppliers, contracts) and the affect on the business and profitability.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The successful SCMA candidate: (1) Completely understands Supply Chain job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts. a. Proficient in and knowledgeable of Material Requirements Planning (MRP-II) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) production systems, bill of material (BOM) driven ordering systems and forecasting models. b. Detail knowledge of complex manufacturing, assembly and procurement strategies. (2) Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to utilizing policies, processes and computing resources. a. Proficient in a wide variety of computing applications and databases including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. (3) Experience with simultaneously managing multiple projects, processes and suppliers. Experience in project management systems, tools and techniques.
