Georgia-Pacifics s iNNOVATION institute has an opening for a
Maintenance Supervisor in the Facilities Management department. This role supervises and coordinates the work of employees who construct, repair and maintain pilot plant equipment and building/facilities. This role reports to the Facilities Manager at the iNNOVATION institute in Neenah, WI, and is a member of the Facilities Management team.
Responsibilities:
o Maximize equipment availability and operating reliability of the pilot plant and building systems
o Provide technical support/guidance to the maintenance crew
o Execute compliance gate-keeping role, for requirements associated with maintenance activities, such as Safe Work Permits, Hot Work Permits, Line Break, and Change Management documentation.
o Evaluate training needs and effectiveness to support continuous improvement of services of the maintenance crew.
o Analyze data and implement planned maintenance services for various pilot plant equipment and building systems.
o Use of computerized maintenance management system to manage workflow and track job assignments.
o Manage the procurement of materials for unplanned jobs and breakdowns.
o Manage the MRO stocking material vendors and their interaction with the maintenance crew.
o Prepare schedule and assure that required compliance inspections are completed, in the Maintenance department.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities:
Knowledge of engineering and safety standards, building systems, mechanical and electrical equipment and material handling equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
o Minimum of 5 years of engineering or maintenance supervisory experience is required
o Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required
o Experience in a manufacturing environment, as well as the forest products or paper industry is desirable
o Able and willing to travel up to 20%
