Desired skills experience with unmanned underwater vehicles Specific Job Description Candidate will be responsible for integrating and testing multiple Remote Minehunting Vehicle programs which includes Remote Multi-Mission Vehicle (RMMV) Versions 4.1 and 4.2, LCS Vehicle and Capital Vehicle programs. Other programs include the Multi-Vehicle Control System (MVCS), Offshore Systems and Sensors (OSS) and other manned and unmanned underwater vehicle programs. Land based and at-sea testing is performed. Candidate will assist senior SI&T leaders to plan, budget, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of integrated system architectures. Candidate will assist senior SI&T leaders for integration and test activities. This role also involves interfacing with other engineering disciplines, program management, quality assurance, CM/DM and senior SI&T personnel. Candidate must support team members and be able to respond to actions quickly. Candidate must be able to synthesize SI&T needs and requirements into system Integration and test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Candidate will assist creating the definition of test input/output parameters and solve hardware/software interface problems, through individual effort and/or direction of team members. Candidate will be expected to understand System Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents and Software Requirements Specifications. Candidate will be required to develop test certification documents for the senior SI&T lead as needed; examples are inputs to detailed test reports, test procedures and Test Readiness Review packages and Vehicle Readiness Review packages.
Candidate may attend reviews as well as evaluate and derive requirements for testability. Candidate may be asked to assist in the development of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for subsystems. Candidate may be required to perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and/or system level proof of compliance reports that verify and validate system performance. Candidate will be expected to write Program Trouble Reports to document issues and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Candidate will be required to document test activities in specified requirements databases, test logs, and test reports. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Security Clearance TS/SCI Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
