What You'll Do
At John Deere's Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) in Moline, Illinois a Systems Integration and Test Engineer will be responsible for translating customer needs and use cases into system concepts and writing detailed system test and integration plans based on those concepts. In addition your will: * Work with upstream stakeholders to reach agreement on the requirements, with system architects so they can translate the requirements into a design, with interaction designers to develop the user use case requirements and with engineering teams to clarify the requirements and make adjustments as necessary * Collaborate with product verification and validation to develop appropriate verification and validation plans * Work across larger group of teams to integrate testing throughout the development cycle from hardware to software * Prepare and execute plans for load and stress testing of hardware and software applications We need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related degree. In addition we require: * Experience in test coordination and Quality Assurance experience in a software intensive product * Experience delivering 1 or more commercial products from concept development to delivery to end customers * Demonstrated ability to do whole systems solution thinking * Experience in project planning in a QA or testing role * Experience in creating and executing load and integration test plans * Interactive software development experience in an engineering or development role through multiple development phases * Demonstrated ability to translate the voice of the customer into a software intensive product A strong candidate will also have: * Experience delivering 3 or more products to end customers * Supervisory experience * Strong presentation skills * Experience as a systems engineer or business analyst What You'll Get
