Systems Engineer
Responsible for the systems engineering development, oversight and support of conceptual systems requirements and architecture for a variety of communications and UAV payload systems. Applications range from HF radios to Ku Band data links including baseband processing architecture, data path definition and interprocessor communications. A detailed understanding of various modulation and demodulation techniques is required. Knowledge of embedded systems is highly desireable. Knowledge of analog, RF and digital circuits is highly desireable.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation and cost and risk analysis.
Practical experience in systems integration and testing with limited assets and resources is a must.
Support of periodic proposal generation will be required. The candidate will be articulate and a good communicator. The position requires the ability to work and interface across functional boundaries such as flight operations, maintenance personnel, and other engineering disciplines.
Some work outside normal working hours may be required and some travel both CONUS and OCONUS may also be required.
Basic Qualifications: A Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering is required with 12 years of practical engineering experience in the areas above.
Preferred Qualifications: A current Secret Clearance is highly preferred but not required.
