Electronics Technician: Applies theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental of operational electronic machinery or equipment. Provides electronic support during the installation, test, and troubleshooting of electronic and automation hardware and systems.
Environmental Technician: Conducts test and field investigations to obtain data for use by environmental, engineering, and scientific personnel in determining sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water, and soil. More specifically, provides regulatory and remediation support with respect to the customer's environmental projects.
Computer Network: Provides support to administrative support systems but may include other automation systems. Administrative systems support will focus on individual computer workstations and their interface to Local Area Networks (LAN). Provides support in the installation of new computer hardware, automation systems and applications software. Assists in the resolution of anomalies in workstation performance that may be related to hardware, interface or software.
Assists in the technical planning for new administrative systems’ architecture and maintains documentation related to resolution of anomalies, computer and software inventories, cable routing, and warranty/license records.
Assist users through indoctrination in the use of new workstations and/or applications software. Provide consultation support for problems associated with operator errors in use of new hardware and software.
Interface with workstation users, LAN/WAN Administrators, Data Systems Specialists (DSS) and hardware/software vendors in the performance of equipment/software installation, system/workstation upgrades and workstation troubleshooting.
Safety Technician: Inspects machinery, equipment and working conditions to ensure compliance with occupational, safety and health regulations. Plans and directs safety and health activities to evaluate environmental hazards. Tests noise levels, measures air quality, maintains and calibrates instrumentation, conducts safety lectures.
Engineering Technician: Develops and tests machinery and equipment, reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, and objectives, provides general technical support to other engineering disciplines to include uired: DegreeBachelorsRequired: SkillsSenior Technician: Successful completion of a post-secondary curriculum related to the particular technician discipline as requested within specific task orders. The Project will accept recognized technical certifications and the minimum years of experience in lieu of the post-secondary curriculum completion requirement.
