Invensys Operations Management is a global technology, software and consulting organization. We design, manufacture, install, test and commission software and computer-based hardware for the automation and regulation of industrial and facility operations, the management of certain administrative functions of manufacturing businesses, and simulation of manufacturing process operations. We also provide control, data and measurement instrumentation solutions and services to manage specific parameters of the manufacturing process for the global industrial control and process markets. Technician - Qatar Primary Purpose of the Job:
Client support on IOM Qatar LTSA contract. This will mainly consist of HW and system cabling work and maintenance. Also assistance with spare parts.
Principle Relationships:
Reports to the Operations Manager / LTSA Site manager and has daily interaction with customers at all levels.
Key Tasks:
1. To provide technicians support and to work with engineers broad scale of activities pertaining to LTSA contract with Client. perform the following typical functions: - Fibre optic cable and network equipment troubleshooting - Copper RJ45 installation and network equipment troubleshooting - Power supply trouble shooting - Basic Foxboro & Triconex troubleshooting - Basic assistance in spare parts management - Basic use of PC and system tools - Involvement in system internal and client factory acceptance testing. - Use of office software tools to generate electrical technical documentation and printed output. 3. To perform any other reasonable tasks or duties requested by the Department Manager. 4. To comply with Health & Safety guidelines and work in accordance with Client / and IOM procedures. To follow Quality procedures

Experience Required:
More than 2 years of work in control systems staging, FAT and commissioning, alternative is 3-4 years of working in control system maintenance. Advantage given to networking system experience.
