Requirements: At least five (5) years experience as a valve technician or maintenance repair technician.
High School Diploma or GED
Position is based in Deer Park, TX.
Job Description: Must be able to disassemble, evaluate, assemble, set, test, and tag valves.
Be able to take critical dimensions of internal parts and evaluate using published guidelines per manufacturers specifications.
Must have knowledge of Valve instrumentation, including the ability to assemble, disassemble, and repair same.
Must be able to repair and calibrate pneumatic and digital controls. Must know and have the ability to trouble shoot, or have ability to learn, field bus systems
Know how to reference and use all documentation; including spring charts and parts books.
Be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Know how to operate and take care of necessary tools and measuring instruments.
Must have excellent analytical skills
Must be able to operate various equipment related to valve programs such as hand tools, vernier calipers, test equipment, gauges, blasting and cleaning equipment.
Must operate a forklift and have a valid Texas drivers license.
