Test and Evaluation Engineer 3\4
In this position, the employee will support sprint activities by determining the number of test cases needed to verify the software being developed off the sprint backlog. Attend daily Scrum meetings and give verification and validation (V&V) activity status and burn-down information. Support end-of-sprint activities by identifying the test cases which were run and any open discrepancy reports for the sprint's developed software. Use the following verification tools: Rally, Selenium IDE, Selenium Remote Control and Firefox (Firebug), and potentially HP/QC, HP/QTP. Create verification plans based on acceptance criteria. Generate test cases in Selenium preferred. Generate test cases for each sprint. Reuse existing related test cases, whenever possible. Review test cases with V&V team peers. Coordinate test cases with developers. Enroll the participation of developers in witnessing all test case activities. Coordinate report of test case results with developers. Contribute to continual improvement by way of lessons learned, customer feedback, and corrective and/or preventative action. Write test documentation including test plans, test cases, test reports, test procedures and requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTMs). Develops test plans, procedures and test equipment/software in order to ensure company products and services comply with customer, regulatory, and LSI requirements. Designs, develops and integrates calibration systems. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements which encompass the full spectrum of testing. The T&E Engineer will also analyze, review and validate test data. Prepares and publishes test reports. Conducts research in test technologies to improve efficiency and capability. Interfaces with other members of Customer or program teams, management and other technical staff to define and implement test engineering solutions. Experience testing software in an agile environment is required. Experience testing in a Java software environment is required. The employee should also have knowledge of SQL queries.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 3 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
