Title: Test & Commissioning Officer - New Zealand Location: New Zealand-Auckland Invensys Rail is well recognised as a leading railway signalling and control specialist in the design, supply and installation of turnkey projects and comprehensive railway management systems. We are currently looking for a Test & Commissioning Co-ordinator to join our project team in Auckland delivering the re-signalling of the metro rail network. The role reports to the Testing Engineering Manager and is responsible for managing the testing and commissioning processes for safety related railway signalling and operational systems in accordance with the company's quality and safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities * Manage and co-ordinate all aspects of testing and commissioning programs through to signalling system handover to Train Operations for safety critical signalling systems. * Develop commissioning strategies, project stage works/commissioning phases, safe working arrangements and commissioning plans. * Compliance to standards and quality for scope of site works. * Identify and manage the ongoing resource requirements for the programme of projects to ensure the projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Ensure test and commissioning environmental health and safety issues are addressed and managed within the EHS framework. * Develop and implement Testing and Commissioning Plans and associated Certificates for railway signalling and operational systems. * Establish and maintain a working relationship with the wider project team. Essential Qualifications and Experience * Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related discipline * Electrical Work Licence for work of Electrical Mechanic. * High level of skill in the testing and commissioning of safety related signalling and operational systems and equipment. * Extensive knowledge of railway safe working principles. * High level of written and oral communication skills. * High level of skill in working autonomously and within a team. * High level of people management skills. * Willing to travel to various site locations within Australia, working in a combination of office and site environments. * Strong commitment to meeting deadlines. Desirable Qualifications and Experience * Experience in a team with different technical and cultural background.
