Job Description
TOOL DESIGN ENGINEER
Designs prototype and production tooling based on concept drawings and existing product lines.
Supplies detailed drawings to machine shop for manufacturing.
Checks drawings and parts of other designers for manufacturability,assembly, and serviceability.
Designs new and revised tooling for thermoformed and injection molded packaging utilizing Pro/Engineer.
Must be self motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Must be capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of CAD part and thermoforming tooling design required.
Thorough knowledge of Pro/Engineer, AutoCad, and MS Office applications
