Job Description Essential Functions/Specialized Knowledge
Assembly, setup and maintenance of tooling
Perform leak testing operations
Cleaning as a weld prep
Ability to train new personnel/operators
Perform supervisory role in absence of supervisor
Initiate failure reports
Recommends design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability
Ability to work using a microscope
Assemble, test, calibrate and thermal compensate an electro-mechanical device
Prioritize cell and/or dept work load
Good communication and organizational skills
Perform visual inspection of parts
Maintain quality records
Interfaces and/or interprets customer and supplier requirements (internal)
Interprets customer requirements (external)
Assists Engineering
Perform final acceptance testing on electro/mechanical pressure sensor (ATP)
Pull parts from inventory, maintain proper counts, pull picking lists
Troubleshoot lost and misdirected picking lists
Work with minimal to no direct supervision
Intermediate knowledge of quality standards
Advanced knowledge of written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
Intermediate MFG Pro
Basic soldering ability (certified to Mil-Std-454)
Advanced product knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Home departments equipment
Ability to perform advanced ATP (Ess. Vibration, etc.)
Advanced troubleshooting skill, mechanical and electrical
Advanced mechanical aptitude
Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing techniques
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
QC Tester Identification
