Part-Time Warehouse Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant who would like to be a part of a fast-paced work environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, we will rely on you to act as his assistant and perform each essential duty satisfactorily with a positive attitude. You will be trained on our procedures for specific tasks then evaluated as to your ability to complete the tasks efficiently and effectively. Attention to detail, ability to follow direction, fast pace of work and common sense are critical. Experience in a location-based inventory warehouse is preferred.
Responsibilities: · Load and unload bobtail trucks · Receive, inspect, and stock product, equipment, and supplies · Un-box, de-trash, separate recyclables including plastics, cardboards. etc. · Issue equipment and supplies · Help maintain accurate records and logs · Track, maintain and repair equipment inventory · Track and maintain supplies inventory · Report accidents and incidents to the Warehouse Lead immediately · Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement · Correct at-risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediately · Help organize the warehouse and yard areas for maximum use and efficiency · Assist with training employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures · Perform deliveries, as needed · Operate hand tools, power tools, may use bolts, screws, by hand or using hand tools or portable powered tools
Requirements
Qualifications: · High School diploma or equivalent · Reliable and punctual · Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly · Ability to learn new product parts and pieces · Organized · Ability to stand, bend, kneel, for long periods of time, repetitive motion · Ability to pass a background and criminal record check · Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug testing · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record · 1 year upright forklift experience; certification preferred · 1 year warehouse experience including paperwork completion and material handling · 1 year experience maintaining, counting, and processing transactions in a computerized inventory · Experience driving box trucks preferred

Schedule must be flexible with typical shift being 7am-4pm, Monday - Friday. Some days will be shorter and some will be longer depending on work load. Some Saturdays may be required on occasion. Typical will be 25-40 hours per week with no guaranteed minimum.
