The Warehouse Manager manages and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure quality service and to achieve company goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to all freight revenues and expenses, freight claims, negotiating with freight carriers, developing and maintaining shipping procedures and efficiencies, inventory maintenance and accuracy, receiving and order shipments. Duties are accomplished personally or through subordinate supervisory staff.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employee; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving employee conflicts.
Ensures proper execution of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
Develops and maintains shipping procedures and efficiencies, inventory maintenance and accuracy, receiving and order shipments.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager including planning, evaluating, controlling and tracking against goals, budget, and timetables.
Approves all inventory adjustments made by warehouse staff.
Works with other departments and corporate office on ordering of product.

Associates degree or equivalent, 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
