Warehouse Products Specialist Account Manager January 27, 2012 - February 29, 2012 Location: Omaha, NE Benefits: Health, Dental, Life, 401K/Profit Sharing Employment Type: Full Time Department: Sales Description: The Warehouse Products Specialist Account Manager would be responsible for maintaining and expanding our Warehouse customer base by frequently contacting current and potential customers, sell Material Handling System equipment and promote rentals and product support. This position will be responsible for all ITA Class 1, 2, & 3 product sales and service.
This position can be based out of Omaha or Lincoln.
Duties: 1. Onsite customer visits (Cold Calling, following up on leads and hand delivering Proposals .) 2. Contact existing and potential customers by telephone to sell products and services, ensure customer satisfaction with existing products, and expand customer base. 3. Research and prepare quotes and information to customers 4. Demonstrate equipment and offer new ideas to customers
Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of material handling equipment and methods used to increase productivity in any warehousing or manufacturing environment, with specialized focus on Class 1, 2, and 3. 2. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. 3. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. 4. Skill in communicating effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience. 5. Skill in operating a variety of office equipment. 6. Skill in demonstrating products and answering questions from customers 7. Demonstrate the ability to close deals. 8. Ability to read and understand information and ideas.
Education and Experience: Bachelor degree or 4 years of equivalent sales experience. Sales experience is a plus but not required.
