The Warehouse Supervisor manages and coordinates the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure quality service and to achieve company goals.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the warehouse.
Responsible for evaluating and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.
Responsible for appraising performance.
Responsible for rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving employee conflicts.
Ensures proper execution of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover size, weight,and related factors of items stored.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting team’s performance to upper management and providing leadership to employees on warehouse floor.
Develops and maintains shipping procedures and efficiencies, inventory maintenance and accuracy, receiving and order shipments.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a supervisor including planning, evaluating, controlling and tracking against goals, budget, and timetables.
Works with other departments and corporate office on ordering of product.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
Must be able to walk and understand dock floors.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. and operate stretch wrap.
Maintains a safe and productive work environment while monitoring and auditing warehouse Inventory.

Associates degree or equivalent, and 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
