Job Description: - Flux-core welding using 3/32 diameter wire - Setting up 600 amp wire feed welders - Experience in the use 100 ton cranes - Use of cutting and heating torches - Grinding - Drilling - Taping - Sawing - Use of an iron worker - Overhead crane use - Materials handling - Ability to work from scaffolding *great benefits package and 401K * There will be occasional overtime to the 40 hour workweek
Requirements:
We are looking for flux-cored welders with: - Candidates must have over 5 years experience in custom/structural steel fabrication - Candidates must have experience on a 3/32 diameter wire; weld fillets range 1" to 2" - Candidates must be able to perform multi-pass welds, as well as gauging and grinding.
