1. Hire the Best People

Even the best managers struggle when dealing with unqualified employees. Work together with your HR department to secure highly-qualified personnel for open positions. Be specific when listing qualifications in job postings and thorough during the screening and interviewing processes.

2. Grow a Team

Great employees should work together for maximum productivity. Incorporate team building exercises into your regular schedule. Use group rewards to cultivate cooperation, and develop a strong onboarding process to get new hires integrated as soon as possible.

3. Communicate Well

Be a better manager by improving your communication skills. Employees work harder when they understand your vision, and clear communication ensures all employees know what is expected of them. Speak and write simply with the goal of getting your point across clearly.
