Pay: $17.51 - $19.01*/hour *Includes $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift

Pick Your Shift: We are hiring for: 1st, and 2nd shifts*

• 1st shift starts between 5:30 am - 6:00 am

• 2nd shift can start as early as 1:35pm and as late as 4pm

*Exact shift times vary by building and assignment and overtime may be available.

What you will experience at GE Appliances:

Our production operators are responsible for operating various pieces of equipment in our factories to assemble our products - dishwashers, refrigerators, clothes washers, and dryers to name a few. Operators work on assembly lines and handle parts to transfer, operate, or adjust the production equipment all while doing this in a fast-paced team environment and adhering to safety rules, regulations, and equipment requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 17 years of age or older AND a 2024 JCPS high school graduate

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction

• Be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English

• Pass a background check, drug screening and complete and pass a medical history questionnaire

• You must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation, including, but not limited to:

• Stand for prolonged periods of time, handle various parts for assembly, walk distances, reach at waist level, push/pull, grasp/squeeze/pinch parts

• Have fine motor dexterity and be able to use air tools

• Be able to reach overhead, reach at shoulder, knee and floor level
