We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining brake press machinery to produce quality metal parts according to specifications. This role requires a commitment to safety, precision, and efficiency.

salary: $45,760 - $56,160 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend, fold, or shape metal parts according to blueprints or work instructions. Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and precise bends and folds in metal sheets or plates. Monitor machine operations to detect any deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance on brake press machinery to keep it in good working condition. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make repairs as needed.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time
