    We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating brake press machinery and a strong attention to detail to ensure the accurate production of metal components according to specifications. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are paramount., Responsibilities:

    Set up and prepare brake press machinery for operation, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling, adjusting settings, and ensuring alignment.

    Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to understand the specifications and requirements of metal components to be fabricated.

    Load metal sheets or components onto the brake press machine and position them correctly according to specifications.

    Operate the brake press machine to bend, shape, or form metal components according to specified dimensions, angles, and tolerances.

    Monitor the production process to ensure that parts are being formed accurately and consistently, inspect finished parts for defects or imperfections, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.

    Perform routine maintenance tasks on the brake press machine, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

    Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance tasks.

    Keep accurate records of production activities, including the number of parts produced, machine settings used, and any quality issues encountered, to facilitate traceability and continuous improvement efforts.

    Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to coordinate workflow, troubleshoot problems, and ensure that production goals are met.

    Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings, and participate in initiatives to implement these improvements.

    salary: $40,000 - $70,000 per year
