Cnc Machinist

Description:

Responsible for programming, fixturing, set-up, evaluation, documentation, quality control, and production support for CNC Lathe and Wire EDM operations.

stationed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA and will require up-to 5% travel to various domestic locations.

SHIFT: Days 6am - 10am flexible start time for this position

General Responsibilities

o EDM -Primary process & asset responsibility

? Set-up, programming, operation, and quality control for wire EDM drilling machine

o CNC-primary process responsibility

? Set-up, programming, operation and quality control for high precision CNC lathe

? Tooling & semi-durable tool specification, selection, stocking, and release for production

? Process development, engineering, and process sheets or manufacturing drawings as needed

? Prototype development, inspection, quality control standards, and transition to production standards

MUST HAVES:

must have at least 2 years+ of set-up, programming, operation, and quality control with a wire EDM drilling machine

must have at least 4 years + of set-up, programming, operation, and quality control with high-precision CNC lathe

must know G-Code / 5 axis machine
