CNC Machinist

Description:

Aerospace and automotive

Candidates will be responsible for Setting up, Programming or operating CNC mills and lathes - various brands and types of controller

using reading and interpreting G Code

change out tooling, clamps, vices, perform offsets and zero out the machine

1st piece and through process quality inspection using micrometers and calipers

Ensure that proper gauging is being used for the job intended to run

Read and understand blueprints

Produce precision components according to blueprints

Perform all necessary part inspection using gauging instruments specified in the inspection sheet(micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, etc...)

Perform setup for a new or an existing component to be machined

Obtain necessary tooling

Work Environment

Clean climate controlled machine shop that is well lit and organized with new CNC machines

Openings on 1st and 2nd shift overtime available
