Responsibilities

Follows all established company policies, rules and regulations, ISO procedures and work

instructions.

Works from CAD drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to interpret, plan and lay out

own work.

Will set up, load parts and operate multiple types of machining equipment in a safe manner,

in order to produce Quality parts on a timely basis to very close tolerances.

Interpret existing CNC programs and edit if necessary in order to set up and operate CNC

machines.

Reviews sequences of machining operations, speeds, feeds and continually offers input in

regards to improving the methods of production.

Participates in the design and machining of special tooling or fixtures required to

manufacture piece parts.

Input of CNC programs for new parts, utilizing knowledge of numerical control machine

operation.

Calculates and codes machine controlling criteria, such as axis movement, type and size of

cutting and drilling tools, spindle location, machining start.

Monitors and changes tools as required.

De-burring parts as required to meet quality requirements.
