CNC OD/ID Grind Machinist 1st shift

Leidos Dynetics is seeking talented CNC OD/ID Grind Machinist to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities

The CNC OD/ID Grind Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in programming, setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, but with a focus on OD/ID Grinding. Experience in the manufacturing of complex aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus. Grinding of close tolerance, high precision parts an advantage for this position. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED with 3 or more years of relevant experience.

• Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted.

• Candidate must be able to work overtime when required.

• Applicant must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift, 1st shift.

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 axis machining experience with Fanuc, Siemens 840D controls and MAPS programming.

• (2) two years of 2D & 3D experience with a CAM software tool.

• Onscreen programming using M Code or G Code a plus.

• Experience machining in a high precision Aerospace environment.

• Studer grinder with Fanuc controls a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 - $97,525.00
