Cnc Operator

Description:

• The Plymouth location is known as Maclean Master and they are the leader in the precision machining industry. Fasteners are one of their products. They work with a variety of industries including automotive.

• They are looking for entry level machine operators.

• They are automated CNC machines, so they are more so loading the machine with parts and taking the parts off, along with visual checks.

• They will be operating sugami bar fed swiss lathe machines.

JOB DUTIES:

• Load/unload machines

• Removing part out of containers

• Putting them through feeders

• Part checks

• Automated machines they are working with

• Input parts, output has to make sure trays are removing from the machines otherwise the machine will stop

• Move parts with a pallet jack

• They will be monitoring 4 machines at once

SHIFT:

1st 5:45AM-2PM M-F (2 Openings)

2nd 1:45PM-10PM M-F (2 Openings)

3rd 9:45PM-6AM Sun-Thurs (5 Openings- Top priority)

Overtime:

• Voluntary majority of the time

• They are currently working 6-7 days per week (Again, day 6 or 7 is optional, only 5 days are required)

• Can come in before or stay after their shift as well

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE

1). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Candidates need to be able to have experience lifting parts that could weigh up to 30 lbs on to a cnc machine consistently on their machine

2). CNC operating experience

• Experience loading a part onto a CNC machine and pressing a button (their machines are all automated)

• Experience with mill and/or lathe

• Tool change & off set experience

• Blueprint reading experience
