CNC Programmer

System One is currently looking for a skilled CNC Programmer in the St. Petersburg area.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

• Program and operate CNC machines

• Program complex geometry using G code and CAM software. 3 axis

• Interpret complex mechanical blueprints and 3D CAD models for manufacturing specifications

• Utilize your 3D CAD expertise to create or modify CNC programs for the production of parts.

• Build, fabricate, and/or repair manufactured parts from verbal instructions, blueprints and/or working drawings

• Use and operate a variety of hand tools, and electrical and mechanical equipment

• Utilize various forms of precision inspection equipment (i.e. comparators, micrometers, calipers, gauging, etc.)

• Perform in-process inspection of manufactured parts/assemblies

• Repair, clean, adjust and/or perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, or machinery, etc.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Technical certification (Apprenticeship) or specialized trainings preferred

• 3+ years of direct related machine programming/operation experience

• 2+ years of direct experience programming/operating

• Proven experience as a 3-Axis CNC Operator, with expertise in setting up and

• operating CNC machines.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for program

• development.

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical

• specifications.

• Knowledge of various materials, tools, and machining processes.

• Experienced with principles, theories, and practices of machining Plastics
